Trelino

Company

Trelino is a German company, with production also based in Germany. The company specializes in composting toilets designed for mobile use: small, compact, and lightweight, and excellently suited for vans, VW buses, Mercedes V-Class vehicles, motorhomes, or anywhere space is limited.

Trelino's products are manufactured by Camper Active GmbH in Düsseldorf, sold via www.trelino.com and also via www.meinetrenntoilette.de. The managing director of Camper Active GmbH is Dipl.-Ing. Markus Becker; the business initially ran the blog meinetrenntoilette.de before developing its own products. Trelino's focus is on manufacturing composting toilets that can be used anywhere without water and chemicals, such as at campsites, in motorhomes, campers, and vans.

Sustainability

Trelino follows the approach of protecting nature and our planet's valuable resources, which is why it develops camping toilets that require neither water nor chemicals. Recyclable materials such as polyethylene are used in production, and the lid of the composting toilets is made of wood. Unlike TROBOLO's products, though, the body is not always made entirely of wood, but also partly of plastic.

Trelino's camping toilets are produced in Germany, resulting in short delivery routes, which in turn benefits the value chain. The urine diverter in the camping toilet enables simple composting.

Products

Trelino's range is essentially based on one model, which comes in different versions and sizes. The mobile composting toilet is available in sizes S to L and is made from various materials, such as birch wood or plastic (polyethylene). Polyethylene is recyclable as well as resistant to chemicals and acids.

Trelino's products are available in different colors such as white or anthracite. Trelino's mobile camping toilets are elegantly shaped and compact. DIY kits are also available, allowing you to build your own composting toilet.

Value for Money

In our test report on the Trelino Timber L with HPL finish, the size L camping toilet performed very well and received 4 out of 5 stars. Trelino's overall value for money is good.

Conclusion

Anyone who needs a particularly compact and simple composting toilet that can be used in a camper, van, VW bus, caravan, or while camping should consider purchasing a product from Trelino.
